QUALITY
We think in ADS that Quality is one of our company’s corner stones. For that reason, we have implemented a Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001:2000 and UNE EN 9100:2003 standards, driving us to get registered in OASIS Data Base (Online Aerospace Supplier Information System) managed by IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group).
Furthermore, ADS is ready for certification according to PECAL 2110 and PECAL 160 (Software quality) requirements.
Our procedures comply with UNE 157001 and UNE 66916 project management standards, and also with ECSS-M-00B from the European Space Agency (ESA). ADS has also implemented Software development metrics to manage properly that type of projects.
ADS is on its way to reach Total Quality concept. We are currently working to streamline our management towards Excellence EFQM models, taking also into account ISO 9004 norm (UNE6174).
The Toribio Echevarria Award to the Technological Innovation, presented to ADS in November 2005, is a clear proof of the hard work ADS team is doing from the initiation of its activities.
ADS commitment towards Quality is also evidenced through the signature of a Volunteer Environmental Agreement, together with most of the partner companies of the HEGAN Cluster. This agreement, fostered by the Basque Government and signed on 30th November 2006, commit those signing companies to implement ISO 14001 standard “Environmental Management Systems. Requirements”, and to take into account ecological design patterns in their engineering developments.
Every ADS worker is committed towards quality, striving for an efficient time management, and devoting themselves in a continuous training and improvement process.
